In addition to serving for 22 years as an officer in the Air Force, Gail Dodson has been sewing and quilting over 35 years. She is an expert in digitizing and custom embroidery, and received an industry award in 2006 for Creative Use of Embroidery Software. Gail’s specialties are 4D Embroidery Software, 5D Embroidery Software, and automated quilting.

Though Chris Dolinar has worked as a sewing educator for over 10 years, she has been sewing for over 40. Chris has traveled throughout the country, inspiring sewing enthusiasts to further expand their sewing skills in all areas of sewing, such as heirloom, quilting, home décor and embroidery. With her unique style, passion and humor, you are guaranteed to have fun as she shows you ways to make your sewing faster, easier and customized.

Alix Graham-Michel was inspired to sew by her mother and grandmother. She attended FIT and has a certificate in Fashion Design, Patternmaking and Clothing Construction from the French Fashion Academy. Her work has been worn by music artists, seen on the international film screen as well as interior design showcases and boutiques. She has had her work featured in several popular sewing publications. Alix is also a certified Martha Pullen instructor.

Karla Herrin has designed quilts as well as home décor and garments. She is Jenny Haskins certified, and she has trained in heirloom sewing through Martha Pullen events. Karla has also appeared on sewing television shows and web video productions. She loves to have fun with her sewing and enjoys sharing her knowledge and creativity.

Marsha Kirsch has always enjoyed the creative aspect of design and embellishments. She used her creativity as the basis of a craft business called “The Painted Picket”, wooden decorations for the home. More recently, she created a line of jacket patterns under The Painted Picket name. Throughout these endeavors she has derived great enjoyment from interacting with customers to share her enthusiasm for creating quilts, jackets and accessories. The combination of the advanced machines and the comprehensive software has opened up new doors of creativity that she enjoys sharing with customers.

Janie Lantz specializes in teaching embroidery and quilt designing software with humor and a signature style. She is an internationally recognized author and publisher of embroidery and quilting software tutorial books, videos and instructional manuals. Janie has also appeared on television sewing programs, and has contributed articles to sewing publications such as Creative Machine Embroidery. Her love of the craft is obvious in everything she does, which includes embroidery, quilting, wearable art, home décor, and garment construction & tailoring.

Dawn Rumbutis studied Fashion Merchandising in Kentucky and Fashion Design in New York. Among Dawn’s specialties are wearable art as well as fashion and jewelry design. She has published in Jenny Haskins magazine, Creative Expressions, as well as Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine. She is known for her contagious excitement and energy which she expresses in her presentations as she inspires others.

Deb Yedziniak is a licensed Martha Pullen heirloom instructor. She has appeared on several sewing TV programs and has written articles for major sewing publications such as Sew News, Creative Machine Embroidery and Threads. Deb also shares her knowledge of sewing through a series of books and instructional CDs and DVDs. She loves to have fun while showing you how to get the most out of your sewing machine!
